Arts Digital: Self Study

The Self Study room provides access to interactive self-paced language learning materials, some recorded lectures and classwork for students and staff learning languages other than English and English as a second language.

Computers provide access to interactive multimedia language resources and live multilingual satellite television broadcasts. Language reference materials such as encyclopaedias, dictionaries and some textbooks are also available for use here.

Capacity is 44 seats.

• 4 analog language consoles
• 33 student computer positions - 2 Apple eMac G4 700MHz & 31 HP Compaq DC7100SFF Desktops
• DVD playback is from all computers and 1 TV
• VHS and Betamax playback is from 2 TVs

Students may use this room whenever the Arts Digital Resource Centre is open and space permits.
