The November 2003 issue of the New Zealand Journal of French Studies (24/2) has been published and sent to subscribers. It contains three articles:
 
- Jean Anderson, "Nadine Ribault: A Poet's Prose. An interview and
introductory discussion of her work";
 
- Agnes Hafez-Ergaut, " 'Le Bachelier' ou l'Echec de l'enseignement
universitaire comme instrument d'ascension sociale";
 
- Francoise Grauby, "La Vie en noir: le discours celibataire dans
'Plateforme' de Michel Houellebecq";
 
and a number of book reviews as well as an obituary for Dr Alex W. S.
Baird (1938-2003), who was Reader in French at the University of
Canterbury.

should be addressed to me at Massey University. Subscription rates for
2004 are: NZ subscribers - NZ$20.00; overseas subscribers - NZ$25.00.
