Carnet Austral is a twice-yearly bulletin issued on behalf of the Australian Society for French Studies. Contributions (up to 2500 words, in English or French) are invited on all areas of French Studies. These may reflect ongoing concerns about the discipline, suggest new approaches and insights into literary, cultural, historical or linguistic matters, raise theoretical, pedagogical or experimental issues. We also welcome reviews of books of interest to the Society's membership, and particularly of those published in Australia.
