AS LONG AS I'VE GOT MY DOONA: Homelessness
among lesbian and gay youth (1995)
A report on research conducted for the community organisation
Twenty Ten, which provides medium and long-term housing and other general
welfare services to young lesbians and gay men. The report, based on a study
of homeless gay and lesbian youth and focusing particularly on their housing
needs, called for the development of early intervention programmes and for
increased training of teachers and service providers to enable them to respond
more appropriately to the needs of young lesbians and gays. |
