Exchange and study abroad

Local postgraduate coursework students may apply to the Exchange Office to undertake approved study at an overseas institution, and to have the results of that postgraduate study counted towards the completion requirements of their degree at The University of Sydney. The Exchange Office manages study exchange agreements on behalf of the University of Sydney with many distinguished universities internationally.


Local postgraduate coursework students may apply to the Study Abroad office to undertake approved study at an overseas institution of their choice, and to have the results of that accredited postgraduate study counted towards the completion requirements of their degree at The University of Sydney.


International students interested in incoming exchange or study abroad placement should contact the International Office to discuss the necessary procedures for application and admission to these programs.
