Bachelor of Arts/Master of Nursing

Degree Overview

 

4 years full time
5 years full time with Honours

The Bachelor of Arts/Master of Nursing is a four-year pre-registration course for students wishing to undertake a combined degree. Students are required to complete 96 credit points in the Bachelor of Arts. Master of Nursing units are begun in the second year of the undergraduate degree.

Students following this pathway will have a broader range of skills and knowledge. They will have the opportunity to work in positions in health and medical industries, in clinical and non-clinical settings such as media and communications, in research, government and public institutions, community organisations and the public sector.

At the conclusion of the course, subject to the requirements of the Nurses Act of NSW, students will be eligible to apply for registration with the Nursses and Midwives Board, NSW.
