Degree Overview
4 years full time
5 years full time with Honours
The basic requirements for the Bachelor of Social Sciences degree are:
- A Social Sciences major (please refer to Requirement 6 of the Degree Requirements for a list of possible subject areas);
- A Humanities Arts major (please refer to Part A of the Table of Units of Study for a list of possible subject majors);
- 6 junior credit points in General Statistical Methods;
- Core units in Social Sciences and Sociology as prescribed by the Degree Director;
- An internship and research paper in the third or fourth year.
