Overview

The Honours program in ICLS offers students the opportunity both to learn more about the history and theories of Comparative Literature and to pursue their own original research on a topic of particular interest to them. In the process, they will obtain an advanced qualification opening pathways both to career opportunities and to postgraduate study in Australia or abroad.

Honours is being offered in ICLS for the first time in 2009.

Entry requirements are: 48 senior credit points in ICLS and crosslistable units of study, of which at least 36 must be in ICLS units; and at least reading knowledge of one language other than English, or special permission from the .

NB transitional arrangements will be made for special permission for students enrolled in second or third year in 2008 and/or 2009.

Options for Joint and Combined Honours are also available.
