This qualification is normally completed in 1 year of full time study or 2 - 4 years part time.

Entry Requirements

 
A Bachelor degree with a major in a relevant field in the humanities or social sciences.

Completion Requirements

 
8 units of study (totalling 48 credit points) comprising 4 core units of study plus 4 electives.

Candidates must enroll in both DVST6901 Development: Critical Perspectives A and DVST6902 Development: Critical Perspectives B.

Candidates must then enroll in at least one of the following: GOVT6125 Politics of the World Economy and GOVT6123 Globalisation and Governance.

Candidates must also enroll in at least one of the following: ECOP6130 Human Rights and International Development and HRDT6903 Dynamics of Human Rights Violations.
