Student Exchange Program

Keen students have the opportunity to spend time studying Arabic abroad. The department can help place students for one or two semesters at a university in an Arab country (e.g. Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Kuwait or the UAE). Various scholarships are available from the Faculty of Arts, and sometimes from an Arab university (e.g. University of Kuwait). Exchange agreements are underway between the University of Sydney and a number of universities in Arab countries.
