Postgraduate Coursework in Archaeology
The Department of Archaeology currently offers units of study within the Ancient World Studies program.
Ancient World Studies offers the opportunity to study the ancient world at a postgraduate level using an interdisciplinary approach. Students explore ancient cultures and languages from a range of perspectives, drawing on disciplines including ancient history, classics, philosophy, archaeology, and studies in religion. With a strong focus on the civilisations and languages of the ancient world, the program also emphasises contemporary critical responses to ancient culture.
