This event will feature Imants Tillers, one of Australia's foremost artists, in a conversation with noted art curator, Bill Wright. They will discuss aspects of Tillers' artistic practice. A major retrospective exhibition presently on show at the National Gallery of Australia in Canberra showcases Tillers' prodigious achievement in contemporary art. (Exhibition dates: 14 July - 16 October). Bill Wright is currently the Sherman Foundation Fellow in Contemporary Art, at the Power Institute, University of Sydney. He is undertaking a four year research project documenting a series of interviews with contemporary artists working in Australia.
