Senior level units for the undergraduate major in Asian Studies
Undergraduate senior level units of study are grouped in terms two different groupings:
Disciplinary and thematic clusters
Geographical-cultural areas of concentration
These two methods of clustering classes serve to give coherence, diversity, and choice to students, by grouping the existing units of study offered by Asian Studies into specialized clusters that students can select for their study focus. These clusters exist mainly to allow students to focus their studies on topic areas of their choice. Students are not required to take all units in any one cluster. Whatever specialisations the student selects, so long as the student completes the requisite 12 junior and 36 senior credit points, they will be able to major in Asian Studies.
