Will you organise the placement for me?
Kirstin Bokor, Internship Officer will be very happy to organise your internship. You may have your own contacts, however, please do not approach the organisaton without speaking first with Kirstin first as we may have an existing relationship with the organisation, they may already have committed/refused an intern placemment, or there may just be something you need to know to make the process easier.
I already have a job in the Information and Communication Industries – can I count this towards my internship?
Experience at a relevant workplace may be credited towards an internship, depending on the role you fill there - if it is directly related. If not, you could arrange to do your internship in an area related to your studies. Remember however, that if you are paid for your work, you are not covered by the University’s insurance.
