This qualification is normally completed in 1 year of full time study or up to 3 years part time.

Entry Requirements

 
A Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in English or Australian Literature, or equivalent.
Candidates are required to submit a portfolio of 1500 - 3000 words of prose or 10 - 15 pages of poetry with their application.

Completion Requirements

 
6 units of study (totalling 36 credit points) of which a minimum of 4 units must be taken from the Creative Writing program.

Further Study

 
Candidates in the Graduate Diploma program may choose to transfer to the Masters program with full credit once they have passed the required units.
