This qualification is normally completed in 0.5 years of full time study or up to 2 years part time.

Entry Requirements

 
A Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in English or Australian Literature, or equivalent.
Candidates are required to submit a portfolio of 1500 - 3000 words of prose or 10 - 15 pages of poetry with their application.

Completion Requirements

 
4 units of study (totalling 24 credit points), of which a minimum of 3 units must be taken from the Creative Writing program.

Candidates in the Graduate Certificate program may choose to transfer to the Masters program with full credit once they have passed the required units.
