Postgraduate Research
Postgradute research degrees offer students the opportunity to undertake supervised research leading to the production of a thesis over a prescribed period of time. Master’s degrees and PhDs can both be obtained by research. Most students pursuing research qualifications specialise in one of the disciplines within the area of European Studies (French, German, Italian, Spanish, Greek) although inter-disciplinary topics are also encouraged. Applicants should contact the Director in the first instance for assistance with identifying a suitable supervisor within the field of European Studies.
