Postgraduate assessment

Course work grade information can be obtained from the Faculty of Arts.

Departments are under increasing pressure to return annual results by the earliest possible date. While individual teachers determine the dates by which written work for their course is to be submitted, it is expected that all written work will normally be completed by the middle of June in Semester 1 and the middle of November for Semester 2.

If individual circumstances (such as pressing family or professional commitments) make this difficult, you should arrange with the relevant teacher before that date a mutually suitable alternative deadline. Only in the most exceptional cases will any extensions be granted.

Delays in submitting assignments
Delays due to illness or misadventure should be documented, particularly when they may require the late return of official results. In such cases an Application for Special Consideration should be lodged at the earliest opportunity with the Student Centre (Level 1, Carslaw Building - F07. Telephone: 9351 3023).
