Research strengths
Staff in the Department of French Studies have expertise in a large number of research areas and are currently working on a range of specific research projects and publications. The Department of French Studies maintains strong interdisciplinary links with many research clusters across the School of Languages and Cultures, the Faculty of Arts and the University.
The Department has an annual program of research seminars which include University of Sydney staff, postgraduate students and visiting scholars from other Australian and international universities.
