What is French honours?
A French honours degree (fourth year French) is a passport to travel, study and work in France or in francophone countries. Some of our honours graduates are now working and studying at French Universities including Paris VII, ENS Cachan and Institut des Sciences-Politiques.
An honours degree is also an excellent general qualification in Arts.
Students from all three first year courses (introductory, intermediate, advanced) can qualify for honours in French.
Joint or double honours are also possible. Please consult the French Honours coordinator for more information.
Entry requirements to fourth year honours are:
A major in advanced French or in French (36 senior credit points)
