What is French honours?
A French honours degree (fourth year French) is a passport to travel, study and work in France or in francophone countries. Some of our honours graduates are now working and studying at French Universities including Paris VII, ENS Cachan and Institut des Sciences-Politiques. An honours degree is also an excellent general qualification in Arts.
Students from all three first year courses (introductory, intermediate, advanced) can qualify for honours in French. Joint or double honours are also possible.
For further information please consult the French Honours coordinator for more information, or follow this link for an information booklet for Honours students in the School of Languages and Cultures.
