Postdoctoral Fellows
University of Sydney Postdoctoral Fellowships
The University of Sydney appoints a small number of postdoctoral fellows across the university every year. The Department of Gender and Cultural Studies welcomes inquiries from scholars in the areas of gender studies and/or cultural studies with strong research and publishing track records (relative to opportunity).
Applications for the 2006 round (for appointment in 2007) have already closed. Information about the scheme, as well as announcements about the 2007 round, can be found on the Research Office site. Prospective applicants should contact the Department Chair as early as possible to discuss the application.
Australian Research Council Postdoctoral Fellowships
The Department of Gender and Cultural Studies also welcomes inquiries from scholars interested in applying for the ARC postdoctoral fellowships. The Department can offer a vibrant research culture and the excellent facilities of University of Sydney and the School of Philosophical Inquiry.
Applications for the 2006 round (for appointment in 2007) have already closed. Information about the scheme, as well as announcements about the 2007 round, can be found on the Australian Research Council site. Prospective applicants wanting to join the Department as an ARC postdoctoral fellow should contact the Department Chair as early as possible to discuss their application.
