Students are strongly encouraged to study German at an overseas university for one or two semesters. Please contact the Student Exchange office, located on the Ground Floor of the Services Building.

The University of Sydney has partnerships with the following universities that offer German as part of their curriculum:

• University of Freiburg;
• University of Bamburg;
• University of Vienna;
• Freie Universitat Berlin.

Students can also organise their own tertiary study in Austria, Germany or Switzerland. For more information visit the National Registration Center for Study Abroad (NRCSA).
