Textbooks
Because of unforeseen difficulties in the supply of books, set texts may have to be changed after the Faculty of Arts Handbook has been printed. Students should consult the department noticeboards before buying textbooks.
Reference books
There are many good reference works available, and students should buy the best that they can afford. The department recommends:
