About the Program Coordinator

Dr Annie Clarke is the co-ordinator for the Heritage Studies program which is an undergraduate major in the Faculty of Arts. She currently teaches the four units of study in Heritage Studies.

Her research interests inlcude the Indigenous archaeology of Northern Australia, focusing on Eastern Arnhem Land, the art and archaeology of cross-cultural interactions, community-based archaeology and heritage., collecting studies, specifically focusing on the role of Indigenous agency in the formation of Museum collections and the relationships between popular collecting and private museums.
