HSTY2065 - Festivals and Faith (2005)

This was the first time this unit was offered and scored a very welcome 96% for overall student satisfaction. Indeed, with only a couple of exceptions the responses to the questions were 96% positive. There were some very nice comments upon the quality of the lectures and the organization of the unit … and there were some converts to medieval studies. There were a couple of comments relating to the coverage of topics in both lectures and tutorials. Many students find the opportunity to explore the material from the lectures in focused readings and discussion helpful, and I shall be continuing to use this approach in the future.
