Deby Rumengan Williams tutors in INMS1102 and INMS2602. Deby was born in Manado, North Sulawesi and lived there until early 2002. Her teaching career began in 1995 where she taught English at Michigan College and Language Centre at UKIT Christian University in Manado. Before coming to Australia, she worked for an American goldmine company where she taught English and Indonesian and later on worked as a Public Relations Officer. Deby has a Masters degree in TESOL from the University of New England.

Iskandar Nugroho tutors and lectures in INMS2602, INMS3602 and INMS3604. He is a graduate of both the University of Indonesia and the University of New South Wales (Sydney, Australia). He has extensive teaching and research experience at universities both in Indonesia and Australia. Before joining the University of Sydney, Iskandar worked for the Australian Studies Centre at the University of Indonesia, and the School of History and the Department of Indonesian Studies at the University of New South Wales. Iskandar has also been involved in a number of Indonesian language projects in Australia, working as an interpreter and translating for both radio and television. He occasionally works as a movie subtitler for Softitler (Canada) and a book editor for Komunitas Bambu, a Jakarta based publishing company specialising in Indonesian language, history and culture. His pocket book, Essential Indonesian Phrasebook, was published by Periplus Singapore in 2002. Recently Iskandar returned to Australia after working with IHPCP (an AusAid HIV/AIDS project) as a Provincial Adviser for Sexual Transmission and Gender in the Indonesian province of Papua, where he helped produce multi-media productions for sexual health promotion using the local languages.
