Nicoletta Meloni graduated in Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 1985, with a dissertation on W.B.Yeats, supervised by Professor Agostino Lombardo. Since 1987 she has worked as a teacher of English language and literature in several state secondary schools. She has extensive experience in the teaching of English as a foreign language to students from the Elementary to the Intermediate level and in the coordination of extracurricular courses taught by native speakers for the Cambridge Certification Exams P.E.T. and F.C.E.

Her areas of interest include cinema, literature and action research in developing effective activities and techniques for the teaching of foreign languages to teenage students.
