Presentation of essays
There is no single style sheet that applies to all forms of written work. You may choose to follow one of the following styles:
- Chicago Manual of Style (USA)
- Modern Humanities Research Association Style Guide (British)
- Modern Language Association Manual (available from The Co-op Bookshop)
- Quick departmental guide: Essay Writing in the Department of Italian - available from your unit coordinator.

You must attach this assessment coversheet to pieces of written assessment, unless otherwise stipulated by your unit co-ordinator or lecturer/tutor.
