Units of study offered in Korean Studies
The units of study offered by the department fall into two general categories: 'Korean language’ and 'Korean studies’. Our comprehensive language curriculum is designed to accommodate both beginners in the language and heritage speakers. Native or near native speakers can major in Korean Studies by taking 36 credit points from senior Korean Studies and/or Asian Studies units.
