Dr Dwyer has worked in media industry law, policy and research roles with the Australian Broadcasting Authority (now the Australian Communications and Media Authority), the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. He has been teaching for over ten years, at Macquarie University and most recently as a Lecturer in Media Policy at UWS, in the School of Communication Arts. Tim is a member of the editorial committee of the Global Media Journal (Australian Edition) and writes the ‘Australian Media Monitor’ section. Tim is currently the postgraduate research coordinator for the Department of Media and Communications.
