Gillian Savage (BA) is a Director at Environmetrics with more than 25 years experience in social research with a special emphasis in the cultural sector. She has carried out studies for most major collecting institutions in Australia including museums, galleries, libraries, zoos, heritage sites and cultural tourism attractions.
Her expertise is wide-ranging and includes visitor studies using surveys as well as observation studies and in-depth qualitative research using focus groups, interviews and community consultation.
Gillian has supported the development of the Visitor Studies field in Australia as a committee member of the Evaluation and Visitor Research Special Interest Group of Museums Australia, and by presenting papers at relevant conferences.
