Sydney Conservatorium of Music at Sydney University
 
  • Study music as part of your degree on the main university campus.
  • Take a Major in Music or Honours within a BA degree, or as part of any combined Arts degree. Subjects range from general music language studies to specific courses in performance, composition and musicology. Students are welcome from all musical backgrounds, whether advanced or beginners. Combine Arts and Music with a BMus Studies/BA Degree
  • Students can choose to perform for credit in one of the university ensembles, such as the Sydney University Symphony Orchestra, choral and early music groups, or by audition in the ensembles at the Sydney Conservatorium. Students develop their composition skills in a variety of subjects ranging from Composition Workshops to writing in the digital realm, and budding musicologists can study a diverse selection of both western and non-western genres.   • The Arts Music Unit is situated on the 4th floor, in the Seymour Centre on the corner of City Road and Cleveland Street. All classes are held on the main university campus.
