Penalties for Late Work

All assignments, unless instructions are offered to the contrary, should be submitted to the School's General Office, Room N386, John Woolley Building A20.

They should be consigned, with the relevant cover sheet attached, to the assignment drop box outside the Office door. Each essay will be marked off as received by the administrative staff against the relevant class list and forwarded to the academic concerned. General Office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 10.00am - 1.00pm and 2.00pm - 4.00pm; Thursday 10.00am - 1.00pm and 2.00pm - 5.00pm.

The Department of Performance Studies does not accept essays submitted by fax or email; nor do we print your essay from a disc or flash drive.

Essays submitted after the due time without prior special consideration will be penalised 1 mark for each day they are late. Essays due on a Friday but submitted after 5pm will not be collected until the following Monday. In such cases 3 marks will be deducted from the mark.

Please note that you are required to keep a hard copy of assignments submitted to the Department.
