Teaching and Research Interests

 

Epistemology, Pragmatism, Philosophy of Psychology, History of Modern Philosophy, Wittgenstein, and Aesthetics. He is co-editor of the book, Naturalism in Question (Harvard University Press, 2004).

Biographical Information

 

Dr David Macarthur MBBS, BA (Hons) (Syd), PhD (Harvard) joined the Department of Philosophy in July 2003. Previously, David was an Assistant Professor at Tufts University (1999-2000) and a Research Fellow in philosophy at Macquarie University (2000-3).
