Entry RequirementsA recognised Bachelor degree with a major in the humanities or social sciences; other disciplinary backgrounds and/or professional experience may be considered by the department.

Completion Requirements8 units of study (totalling 48 credit points).
Students are encouraged to construct a program that combines language units with core units of study.

Further StudyThe Master of Buddhist Studies may include a supervised research project (RLST 6946 Academic Research Project) and/or a dissertation of 15,000 words (RLST 6921 Dissertation 1 and RLST 6922 Dissertation 2) as preparation to enter a research postgraduate degree such as a Master of Philosophy or a Doctor of Philosophy.
