Jorge Carmona’s first ever feature film is a dark, quirky drama that takes us through the intertwined and highly eccentric lives of residents in one apartment block.
Clotilde is an elderly widow, whose only task in life is to take care of her obese and schizophrenic adult son, Javier, who has a broken leg. Together they have found a peculiar way to live their miserable lives.
Janet is an ex-prostitute and pregnant to a corrupt religious preacher. Along with her good friend Leslie, they dream of moving to Miami to set up their own business and hatch a plan to take revenge on the preacher for his treatment of women.
Freddy is a hairdresser, his partner and love of his life, Alvaro, is HIV positive. They plan a concert in the condominium to highlight their AIDS campaign.
Touching on tabooed themes and drawing inspiration from the soap opera, Condominium climaxes in spectacular fashion.
