Students undertaking this combined program are able to complete two degrees in five years of full-time study rather than the six years that would normally be required. During the program you complete the equivalent of Year One of the Bachelor of Laws (LLB) over the three years of their International and Global Studies degree. In Year Four, you undertake the remaining compulsory units followed by six elective units in Year Five.
There are currently over fifty optional units of study available each year, including advanced units of study in core areas such as international law, corporate law, comparative law and constitutional law.

You can also select from a variety of specialised units including:

  • environmental law
  • taxation
  • family law
  • criminology
  • intellectual property
  • legal theory
  • law and gender
  • industrial law
  • anti discrimination law
  • dispute resolution.
