Bachelor of International and Global Studies / Bachelor of Laws *
5 years full time
6 years full time (with Honours)
Students undertaking a Combined Law program are able to complete two degrees in five years of full-time study rather than the six years that would normally be required. In this program students complete the equivalent of Year 1 of the Bachelors of Laws (LLB) over the three years of their International and Global Studies degree. In Year 4, students undertake the remaining compulsory units followed by six elective units in Year 5.
There are currently over 50 optional units of study available each year, including advanced units of study in core areas such as international law, corporate law, comparative law and constitutional law. Students can also select from a variety of specialised units including environmental law, taxation, family law, criminology, intellectual property, legal theory, law and gender, industrial law, anti discrimination law, and dispute resolution.
Please note that these units are subject to change.
