Other Schemes

Broadway Scheme
For candidates with no tertiary record who have suffered serious educational disadvantage. A standard UAC application is required, as well as an Educational Access Scheme (EAS) application to UAC. See the UAC Guide or UAC website for details. Successful applicants generally have a UAI within 5 of the minimum UAI required by school-leavers for a CSP offer.

Cadigal Scheme
This scheme is a special admission and support program for Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants. Contact the Koori Centre (1800 622 742) or the Cadigal website for further details.

Elite Athletes and Performers
Elite athletes and performers, while not eligible for the Broadway Scheme, are eligible for special consideration if they are able to demonstrate that their training and/or professional commitments have affected their HSC or other results. As a guide, such applicants generally require a UAI within 5 of the minimum UAI required by school-leavers for a CSP offer.

A standard UAC application is required, as well as an application form to the University of Sydney Admissions Office, by 3 November 2006. Applications received after this date but before the close of applications on 1 February 2007 will only be considered in subsequent rounds.
