Oceana Monographs are single-author studies or collections of papers on a topic.  Most Monographs are in socio-cultural anthropology but the editors will consider proposals in any cognate field, such as archaeology, ethnography or ethnomusicology.
Proposals, ranging in size from 40,000 to 200,000 words will be assessed and, if acceptable, reviewed by several scholars.  The final version is expected to be in the form of camera-ready copy.
