Philament invites you to 'remove the veil' on the unnamable, the unknowable, the unmentionable. The editors of Philament are soliciting contributions for upcoming issue, 'XXX'. Academic articles, reviews and creative pieces all welcome. philament@arts.usyd.edu.au

Possible themes include, but are not limited to:

sex/sexuality
pornography
censorship/prohibition
deviance/illicitness/fetishism/provocation
ambiguity (sexual or otherwise)
an unknown factor
the 'X' factor
the taboo
the refusal of language in favour of image
the refusal of image in favour of language
generation X
