Current Projects
I am involved in three projects with Italian Academics:
- Nuovo Planetario Italiano. Guida alla letteratura della migrazione
This project, coordinated by Prof Armando Gnisci of the University of Roma La Sapienza, aims at mapping all migrant writers publishing in Italian in Italy. I will write one of the two introductory chapters “Scrivere ovunque diaspore europee e migrazione planetaria” as well as the chapter “L’Europa venuta dall’Europa (dall’Albania alla Russia)”. - Italianismi all’Estero. A collection of essays.
I will co-author a chapter in the first volume with Prof. Camilla Bettoni of the University of Verona on the influence of Italy on Australian culture. In the second volume I will write another chapter, more specifically linguistic, on Italianisms in Australian English and their sociolinguistic distribution. - Dizionari dei temi letterari, coordinated by Prof. R. Ceserani, M. Dominichelli e P. Fasano. I have written the entries on Adolescence, the Mouse and the Shadow. The Dictionary should be published next year
